Famengji 發蒙記 "Notes on enlightening" was a book written during the Jin period 晉 (265-420) by Shu Xi 束晳 (fl. 300), courtesy name Guangwei 廣微, from the commandery of Pingyang 陽平 (in today's Hebei province). He is known for his contribution to the reconstruction of the bamboo books (known as Zhushu jinian 竹書紀年 "Bamboo Annals").
The Famengji is lost. Tao Zongyi 陶宗儀 (1329-1410) assembled 15 fragments from various quotations that are found in his Shuofu 說郛. One fragment originates in the encyclopaedia Taiping yulan 太平御覽, which quotes from Gu Kaizhi's 顧愷之 (344-405) Qimengji 啟蒙記.
Ma Guohan 馬國翰 (1794-1857) found further fragments from the books Chuxueji 初學記, Taiping yulan, Beitang shuchao 北堂書抄, Shiji 史記 (commentary in the chapter Xiongnu zhuan 匈奴傳), Houhanshu 後漢書 (commentary in the chapter Junguo zhi 郡國志) and the glossary Biya 埤雅. They are found in Ma's series Yuhan shanfang jiyi shu 玉函山房輯佚書.
