Huang-Ming fushi bian 皇明輔世編 "A genealogy of Counsellors-in-chief of the August Ming", short Fushibian 輔世編, is a biographical collection of the highest state officials of the Ming dynasty 明 (1368-1644). The text of 6 juan was written by Tang Hezheng 唐鶴徵 (1538-1619), courtesy name Yuanqing 元卿, style Ning'an 凝庵. He wrote a commentary on the Yijing 易經 "Book of Changes", Zhouyi xiangyi 周易象義, the chronicle Xianshibian 憲世編 and two travelogues, Nanyou 南游 and Beiyou 北游.
The collection includes the biographies of 52 persons. During the last decade of the Ming, Tang's nephew Chen Ruimo 陳睿謨 (jinshi degree 1610) added a critical commentary and published the book, printed in 1644. It seems that this commentary was in fact based on blueprints made by Tang himself, and that Chen in many paragraphs altered the original text. Chen was furthermore for private reasons very interested in military matters, and information on military campaigns therefore occupies a prominent position.
