Jiangnan yeshi 江南野史

Jiangnan yeshi 江南野史 "Wild history of Southern China" is a history of the Southern Tang dynasty 南唐 (937-975) written by the Northern Song-period 北宋 (960-1126) scholar Long Gun 龍衮 (dates unknown).

His 10-juan long book is written in a biographic style reflecting the reigns of the four rulers of that short-lived dynasty. The original size must have been 20 juan, but about half was lost before the Ming period 明 (1368-1644). The Jiangnan yeshi was praised for the high quality of the language which makes it appear like a literary writing rather than a history.

It is included in the series Yuzhang congshu 豫章叢書 and the Siku quanshu 四庫全書.
