Kanding Xinjiang ji 勘定新疆記, also called Jiaoding Xinjiang ji 剿定新疆記 "The Pacification of Xinjiang", is a book on the suppression of the rebellion of Ya`qūb Beg (Agubo 阿古柏, 1820-1877) by Zuo Zongtang 左宗棠 (1812-1885) written by the Qing-period 清 (1644-1911) scholar and official Wei Guangtao 魏光燾 (1837-1916), courtesy name Wuzhuang 午莊. He hailed form Shaoyang 邵陽, Hunan, and was in 1884 appointed administration commissioner (buzhengshi 布政使) of Xinjiang, as a subordinate to the administration commissioner of Gansu.

The book was compiled when Wei was promoted to the post of governor (xunfu 巡撫) of Shaanxi, and carried out mainly by Huang Bingkun 黃丙焜 (1838-1919) and revised by Yang Diaoyuan 楊調元 (1855-1911). It is 8-juan long. The first part is an account on the suppression the rebellions in Xinjiang, and is arranged in a chronological style. It reaches from 1864, when the Dungan Revolt (1862–1877) broke out and ends in 1883, when the "Western Regions" were transformed into a regular province with circuits, prefectures, and districts. The second half of the book provides information on the logistics during the war, the new administration of the territory, and measures of reconstruction and restructuring (shanhou 善後).

The book was printed in 1899. Part of it is included in the series Zhongguo jindai shi ziliao congkan 中國近代史資料叢刊 (Vol. Huimin qiyi 回民起義). The book can be seen as a sister-book to Pingding Guanlong jilüe 平定關隴紀略.
