Sui Mian jishi 綏緬紀事

The short book Sui Mian jishi 綏緬紀事 "Military affairs of the tranquilization of Myanmar" is a history on the Myanmar campaigns during the Qianlong reign-period 乾隆 (1736-1795). Its author is unknown. The book imitates the style of the official military annals (fanglüe 方略) and presents imperial edicts and palace memorials in chronological order to give a detailed overview of the course of the campaigns. It is only preserved as a manuscript and was never printed.
