(Qinding) Jiaobu Linqing nifei jilüe (欽定)剿捕臨清逆匪紀略 "(Imperially endorsed) Military history of the war to arrest the rebellious bandit of Linqing" is a history of the suppression of the rebellion of Wang Lun 王倫 in Linqing 臨清, Shandong, in 1774, during the high Qing dynasty 清 (1644-1911). The 16-juan long book was compiled on imperial order under the supervision of Šuhede 舒赫德 (1710-1777) and is written in the style of military annals (fanglüe 方略). The rebellion of Wang Lun had a religious background and endangered the course of the Imperial Canal, the arteria between the rich lower Yangtze area and the Capital. The campaign against the rebels was commanded by Šuhede and could be put down after one month of intensive fighting.
