Yezhongji 鄴中記 "Records from the region of Ye" is a history of the short-lived empire of Shi Hu 石虎 (r. 335-349), Later Zhao 後趙 (319-351), one of the Sixteen Barbarian States 五胡十六國 (300~430). It was written by the Eastern Jin-period 東晉 (317-420) scholar Lu Hui 陸翽.
It was originally only a biography of Shi Hu and was later enriched by informations about the region of Yezhong, the capital of his empire, located in southern Shanxi province. The text is therefore also known with the name Shu Hu Yezhong ji 石虎鄴中記.
The book is only preserved in fragments in the Ming-period 明 (1368-1644) encyclopaedia Yongle dadian 永樂大典. These fragments were compiled to a book during the Qing period 清 (1644-1911) and are included in the series Siku quanshu 四庫全書, Guang Han-Wei congshu 廣漢魏叢書, Shuofu 說郛 and Congshu jicheng 叢書集成.
Another, anonymous book of this title is mentioned in Chen Zhensun's 陳振孫 book catalogue Zhizhai shulu jieti 書錄解題, but there is nothing left of it.
