Xu Qianshu 續黔書, also called Qianzhong jiwen 黔中紀聞, is a book on Guizhou written during the mid-Qing period 清 (1644-1911) by Zhang Shu 張澍 (1776-1847), courtesy name Boyue 伯瀹, from Wuwei 武威, Gansu.
The book of 8 juan was written during the time when Zhang was district magistrate (zhixian 知縣) of Yuping 玉屏 and Zunyi 遵義. It imitates the structure of Tian Wen's 田雯 (1635-1704) Qianshu 黔書, and can be seen as an updated version of the latter. The Xu Qianshu was finished in 1804.
It describes the administrative history, geography, astronomy, local rebellions, historic sites, and eminent persons and state officials, quotes form stone inscriptions, provides information on local tribes and products, and narrates some stories. The text consists of 97 brief chapters.
It is included in the series Qianzhi si zhong 黔志四種, Yueyatang congshu 粵雅堂叢書, Qiannan congshu 黔南叢書 and Congshu jicheng chubian 叢書集成初編.
