Wenshi muxun 溫氏母訓 "Ms Wen's Maternal Instructions" is an educational text compiled during the Ming period 明 (1368-1644) by Wen Yijie 溫以介 (1585-1645), actual name Wen Huang 溫璜, courtesy name Yushi 於石 or Baozhong 寶忠, from Wucheng 烏程, Zhejiang (today's Huzhou 湖州). The short book was written on the base of the instructions of Wen's mother, Ms Wen. It is similar to other texts describing how a young girl had to learn her social status and how to serve her parents and later her husband, but also, how to behave in the important role of a mother. The text is written in a very simple language with short sentences. It is included in Chen Hongmou's 陳宏謀 series Wu zhong yigui 五種遺規, but with the title Jiaonü yigui 教女遺規.
