Zhouzi quanshu 周子全書

Zhouzi quanshu 周子全書 is a collection of the writings of the Song-period 宋 (960-1279) philosopher Zhou Dunyi 周敦頤 (1017-1073). It includes the philosophical core texts of this early Neo-Confucian master as well as literary remains in prose and lyric form, and an annalistic biography (nianpu 年譜). The collection of 22 juan length was compiled on imperial order and printed during the Qianlong reign-period 乾隆 (1736-1796). An older collection with the same title and a length of but 6 juan had been published in 1596 by Zhang Guoxi 張國璽.Another early edition was published by 胡寶瑔 (1694—1763), with a preface by 張伯行 (1651-1725). It was printed in 1708 and had a length of 13 juan.
