Jinxiangshuo 巾箱說 "Talks from the bookcase" is a "brush-notes"-style book (biji 筆記) composed during the high Qing period 清 (1644-1911) by Jin Tian 金埴 (1663–1740), who also wrote the book Bu xiadai bian 不下帶編.

The present work of 1 juan is an unfinished draft, likely written in his later years. The contents are similar to, and in places overlap with, those of the Bu xiadai bian, likewise containing a substantial amount of material drawn from accounts of earlier times. As the author spent many years residing in the province of Shandong while accompanying his father on official postings, the work is particularly detailed in its records of anecdotes concerning famous figures from Shandong, as well as local customs and conditions there. It also includes sections devoted to the critical examination of the classical canon and historical texts, and to the assessment of poetry and prose, and contains detailed accounts of the author's personal associations with literary figures of the time, such as Hong Sheng 洪升 (1645-1704).

Editions include the series Guxue congkan 古學叢刊 from the early Republican period, and the 1982 Zhonghua Shuju 中華書局 edition in the series Qingdai shiliao biji congkan 清代史料筆記叢刊.
