Laopu liangyan 老圃良言

Laopu liangyan 老圃良言 "Good words of the old gardner" is a book on horticulture written during the late Ming period 明 (1368-1644) by Chao Mingsheng 巢鳴盛, courtesy name Duanming 端明, style Kongtong 崆峒 or Zhiyan 止庵, from Jiaxing 嘉興. Zhejiang.

The book deals with all important aspects of horticulture, namely sowing, dividing, propagation, transplanting, repairing, protecting, nurturing, removing pests, storing soil, and watering.

The book was finished before 1680. It is included in the series Xuehai leibian 學海類編 and Congshu jicheng chubian 叢書集成初編.
