Quzhong shi zhong 區種十種 is a collection of books on cultivation techniques compiled by Wang Yuhu 王毓瑚 (1907-1980), courtesy name Lianbo 連伯, from Gaoyang 高陽, Hebei.
Wang studied economy in Germany and France before he returned to China in 1933, where he obtained various chairs for economy and agriculture in particular. The takeover of the Communist Party yielded him the professorship of Agriculture at Beijing Agricultural University 北京農業大學. From 1952 to his death, he was head of the library of this institution.
Wang wrote many books on the agricultural history of China. His collection includes ten books on the technique of "compartment fields" (qutian 區田) by which fields were by the creation of shallow trenches divided into small segments.
