The Quezi 闕子 "Master Que" is a book written by an unknown person during the Warring States period 戰國 (5th cent.-221 BCE). It is listed among the coalition advisors (zonghengjia 縱橫家) of the imperial bibliography Yiwenzhi 藝文志 in the official dynastic history Hanshu 漢書, and is also mentioned in the Han period 漢 (206 BCE-220 CE) encyclopedia Fengsu tongyi 風俗通義. During the Liang period 梁 (502-557), there was a supplement called Bu Quezi 補闕子, with a length of 10 juan "scrolls" that was already lost during the Tang period 唐 (618-907). Both books are thus lost. The Qing period 清 (1644-1911) scholar Ma Guohan 馬國翰 collected fragments of the Quezi quoted in all types of literature, and published these in his reprint series Yuhan shanfang yiji shu 玉函山房輯佚書.
