Riwenlu 日聞錄 "Records of daily news" is a "brush-notes"-style essay (biji 筆記) written during the late Yuan period 元 (1279-1368) by Li Chong 李翀 (the bibliography Qianqingtang shumu 千頃堂書目 writes Ling Chong 淩翀), of whom not much is known.
The short book records historical events between the years 1364 and 1366, a critical phase in the downfall of the Yuan dynasty. The text provides information about the administrative system of the Yuan not found in other texts, but there are also some factual errors or clerical errors (like 旗 "banner" instead of 節 "seal").
The text has only fragmentarily survived as quotations in the Ming-period 明 (1368-1644) encyclopaedia Yongle dadian 永樂大典. The thus partially reconstructed text is to be found in the series Siku quanshu 四庫全書, Hanhai 函海, Mohai jinhu 墨海金壺, Shoushange congshu 守山閣叢書 and Congshu jicheng chubian 叢書集成初編.
